We are a small independent site. We do not buy and test every product we write about, and we never say we did.

What we compare

• Published specifications: plug types, voltage, wattage, dimensions, weight, coverage, fees and contract terms, taken from the maker's or provider's own pages.
• Safety and standards: certification marks and the rules that apply to the product, such as airline limits on batteries.
• Verified buyer reviews: recurring complaints and recurring praise across many reviews, not single stories.

How we write

Each guide starts with what you need to know before buying, then lists products that fit specific situations. Guides are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools and checked against the sources above before publishing. We update a guide when a product is discontinued or its terms change.

How we make money

Some links earn us a commission if you buy. Commission rates never decide which product we list. Details on our disclosure page.
